This was one of the first web apps I ever built for a tech client (1999) as a side project. Although I was not the primary site designer/developer, I was one of the primary Software QA Engineers in the company involved with blackbox testing. I was also one of two engineers tasked at improving the QA process by automating the department’s QA processes.


The goal was to create an automated web interface to enable the team’s various QA engineers to be able to reserve a test machine or see whether a particular machine is in use thus improving team efficiency.

Below is what I came up with using Macromedia Flash. The dynamic values were pulled via Actionscript.
