Overview

MedAlert is a Medical Alert App idea/concept I had after particpiating in a Hackathon as a judge & isan excercise in minimalism. This was also the first mock I designed using Sketch 3. The idea is to create a utility for seniors, similar to “Life Alert”, but in a very simple, mobile platform, and of course, free.

The app itself takes accessibility & the senior audience in consideration, from the oversized buttons & icons, flat high-contrast color palette, minimal UI, and icon+label combinations. Each primary action buttons was purposely made to be accessible from either side of the screen. Each high-contrast button is also color coded, aligning to the screen it is calling.
